Sometimes you just can't be careful enough when riding your motorcycle, especially at night. We're small in size, compared to trucks and cars, and with only one light in front and back, we can easily be run over by cagers who just don't pay attention. BikeLink hopes to remedy this situation. Through Fundable , a web site like KickStart that allows people to invest in ideas without taking an equity stake, BikeLink wants to turn their safety product into a sellable product. BikeLink is a battery operated collar you place behind your motorcycle helmet. At night time, turn on the BikeLink, and several bright LED lights will start shining. A wireless transmitter is installed on your motorcycle, and it gets hooked up to the electronics part. Signals are sent to the helmet portion, indicating when you are hitting the brakes, putting on the hazard warning or turning on the indicators. These lights allow cars coming up behind you to easily see you. In fact, they more easily see the BikeLink lights since they'll be at their eye level. Riding with a pillion? They've though of that too. Two BikeLink units can be synched, meaning your passenger does not get blinded each time you hit the brakes. There's a bunch of parameters you can set, for that you can use a smartphone to configure. So if you're interested in this product and want to see it appear on the market, head on over to Fundable and invest money into the idea. Or just head on over and have a look at the video.
