BMW And Their New System 6 Motorcycle Helmet

BMW are releasing the new version of their very popular System motorcycle helmet. Called System 6 (the original helmet was designed in 1981), the helmet is the lightest they have ever made. Depending on the size, it'll weight 1570 or 1670 grams.

There's an extra strap around the base of the helmet that attaches to the normal chin strap, preventing it from twisting during a crash.

A first for BMW, their Systems helmet now have an integrated sun visor and a double visor (to prevent visor fogging).

And usual, it's not going to be cheap, but high quality. I wonder who actually makes the lid? It used to be Schuberth...

Is it time to change helmets again???
