If the German magazine Auto-Bild is to be believed, BMW is getting ready a new motorcycle/scooter to replace the C1 scooter. Targeted for 2012, the new two-wheeler is going to be meant to carry 2 people (in contrast with the C1, which could only carry 1), it has a roof (like the C1), you will not need a helmet (like the C1), and you have a seat belt (like the C1).
© AutoBild | No details are known about the engine: gasoline, hybrid or electric. The motorcycle is being designed under the "Project I" umbrella, the new BMW ecological think-tank group:- the motorcycle is destined to be ecological. My money is on electric.... the scoot looks pretty sci-fi, but cool.
