BMW came out with the revolutionary C1 motorcycle/scooter a few years ago. It had an innovate design, a roof, windscreen wipers, and in many countries you did not need a helmet since you had a seatbelt.
Old BMW C1 | But maybe it was too far ahead of its time, and the C1 did not sell that well. Now, according to these spy shots, BMW are preparing a new version of the C1, the Cx. They have been spotted road testing their prototype, and this time it's a real motorcycle, not a scooter. The advantage is that it can take two people, and you can remove the roof in seconds, just like a convertible.
