I normally don't write up local motorcycle rides, even ones with a deserving cause, but having lived in Boston for a part of my life, and being a Bruins fan (and Red Sox), I couldn't resist (but that doesn't mean you gotta start sending me local ride outs). September 6th sees the first annual motorcycle rally organized by the Boston Bruins (if it rains, the event will be held on Sunday the 7th). The rally benefits the Dana Farber Cancer Institute , and the event is organized and hosted by the Bruins. Registration starts at 8:30 am, and the motorcycle start the ride at 9:30 am. The ride finishes at the JJ's Bar and Grill (not the one in Australia but in Northborough)for an afternoon BBQ, where you can top up with food, drink and mingle with the stars. It'll cost you US$75, but only US$50 for the pillion. There will be no bodychecking! Click here for more information, and to register
