There are never enough web sites that deal with motorcycle riding, and even less so for adventure riding. Riding into the unknown has always been one of my favorite motorcycle rides, and with discussion forums like Adventure Rider Open Adventure Rider in a new window, Ukgser Open Ukgser link in a new window and with Horizons Unlimited Open link in a new window, you have sites that provide you with a lot of information about adventure riding. But is it enough?

No .. it's never enough, the more the merrier. Now we see a new site that is very professional and well put together. The site/magazine is called Brake Magazine Open Brake Magazine link in a new window, and it's from the UK.

Brake Magazine Cover

With known names like Llewelyn Pavey, Simon Hewitt, Simon "Si" Pavey (my former BMW off-road instructor and Dakar racer) and a few others, Brake Magazine will be covering new adventure motorcycles (by testing the living daylights out of them), but will also test riding and travel kit.

The first motorcycles tested are the Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200ZE and the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS. The reviews are very in depth, with lots of high quality photos and videos. A pleasure to watch and follow. Remember, these folks are specialists in these kind of bikes, and know what to look for.

The magazine will also feature special articles like how to set up your motorcycle for adventure riding and other special interest stories. The magazine is free and has some ads, but nothing too disturbing.
