The Police in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong province in China have destroyed 14,277 illegal motorcycles! The local government have got a bee up their bonnet with regards to motorcycles, since they are often used by gangs for purse snatching.
The local officials are also denying any new motorcycle registrations. So if I get this right, if the local hoods officials have confiscated 14,000 motorcycles, does that mean there were 14,000 gang members? If so, they have a worse problem than motorcycle gangs.
Looks like it's not good riding a motorcycle in China.... they have been trying to ban motorcycles since 2003, and so far 500,000 of them have been destroyed... did you read that right... HALF A MILLION motorcycles destroyed. Talk about genocide... get the War Tribunal involved!
