Believe it or not, Christmas is also celebrated by BMW  motorcycle riders, and finding a nice Christmas gift isn't easy, even if it's for owners of the iconic German motorcycle manufacturer.
Here are a few gifts I found that may interest a BMW motorcycle owner, or just someone who loves these motorcycles. Where possible, I'll list prices and links to buy the gift.
The BMW main international web site has very, very, few gift selections, most of the item descriptions are electronic catalogues, so of no real use. The only site that offers you to buy gifts on-line is BMW USA.
When you see this:  , hover your mouse over the icon to see the current price (prices are often being updated in real time), and clicking it allows you to buy the item from Amazon USA. And yes, I do get a small commission for any Amazon sale...

BMW Messenger Bag
Motorcycle messengers use them all the time, but according to BMW, the bag has been improved for "normal" motorcycle riders. It's a functional shoulder bag made of polyester and polyamide carrying about 10 liters worth of stuff.
The rear section is padded and the whole thing is well protected from the rain.

This will look good on any BMW motorcycle rider.. A brushed stainless steel case, and it even has a small BMW logo on the dial. It has a calendar, and it's water proof, so you can dive into the pool with it.

BMW are one of the very few manufacturers who use the ISO 12V plug for motorcycles. It's different from the car cigarette 12V plugs, which means none of the electric equipment will work on a BMW. So you either get a converter plug, which is messy, or you change the plug of your electric equipment. Now you can use your GPS, heated vest and/or capuccino machine on your motorcycle.

BMW Motorcycles are legendary for innovation, and their choice of fasteners are no exception. Female Torx fasteners are commonplace, and some models even use rare male Torx bolts. Add special wrench and hex key needs, and it becomes clear that a special kit is called for. Here's a great roll up pouch that will give you all the tools BMW forgot to give you.
