Kids (and adults) love receiving Christmas gifts. That's a given, I don't think there's anyone who does not want to receive a gift. But not all gifts are fun. Most kids do not like receiving clothing or educational material.
But kids do like receiving educational gifts disguised as toys. The Lego Technic Motorbike is a prime example of this.
The 467 piece Lego set allows the kids to build one of two types of motorcycles, a street motorcycle and a chopper The motorcycle when finished will have a length of 11 inches/27 cms.
Many of the parts actually work, like the suspension, steering, kick stand, even the chain moves as do the engine's pistons.
So the children (or you) can play with it after it has been built. It's a great first step to understanding how a motorcycle works! The material is sturdy, so no worries.
According to Lego, this can be used for kids aged 9 to 16, but I venture to guess that folks over 16 will like to have a go at it.
You can buy it directly at Lego, or at Amazon.
