Coma & Despres Re-Sign With KTM, Cyril Despres Gets Cool Gift

First, the administrative stuff. Spaniard Marc Coma

and Frenchman Cyril Despres

both extended their contracts with the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM

. The two best motorcycle rally racers in the world re-signed with world's best and most famous off-road motorcycle manufacturer. Between Marc Coma, Cyril Despres and KTM, they have won every Dakar race since 2005, while KTM has been on a winning streak since 2001.

“By signing Marc and Cyril, KTM again preserves the company’s racing DNA,” said Beirer, KTM’s Head of Motorsport. “Heinz [ed: Kinigadner KTM's special consultant] and I are clearly very happy to have the two real rally heroes onboard again.”
