Due to the lasting and very severe economical and financial crisis, the French government has decided to transfer much of the needed money to re-launch the economy, away from Law Enforcement to the big business. To save money, they have decided to sell off all the BMW and Yamaha motorcycles used by the French Police, generating at least €230 million.
In order to allow the French copper to continue to patrol the streets, they have now been supplied with the latest technology motorcycle:
