According to the French motorcycle magazine Moto Journal , one of Europe's largest motorcycle exhibitions, the Mondial Deux-Roues may be in danger. The show that is held every two years, alternating with the German Intermot should normally be held 1 - 8 October. But several main motorcycle manufacturers have made statements, or lack of statements, that they may not attend this year. Honda France has said in an interview that their attendance is in question. Yamaha and BMW have yet to send in their paperwork for the show. Both CEO's have no confirmed or denied their presence, but are seriously thinking about their strategy. The Mondial exhibition will be held, no matter what, but can it perform without some of the biggest manufacturers. It would be a great pity since the expo is one of the main exhibitions of the year (together with Milan's EICMA). We will keep you advised.
