The economic and financial crisis strikes again. Not only are motorcycle manufacturers biting the dust, exhibitions being canceled, now one of the big motorcycle charity rides, Love Ride Open link in a new window, is canceled.

Usually a gaggle of celebrities led by Jay Leno, and 1000's of motorcycle riders go for a ride together, followed by a concert. The funds raised go to charity. This year's US$60 was just too much for cash strapped bikers, so instead of going on the ride on the 25th of October, you can go and see the Easy Rider movie, together with Peter Fonda.
