The Dakar race is still 6 months away, but we're steadily getting more and more information. The race route has been published, and it looks like a tough one next year, for motorcycles and cars alike.
Starting in Buenos Aires, Argentine  , the race goes to Chile and back, just like this year, except this tile they go the other way. The race is against the clock, meaning they'll reach the immense sand dunes of Chile much faster. It also means that the competitors will be fresher when they face the tough kitty litter box.
The Dakar race will go as high as Iquique in Chile. The race starts on the 1st of January 2010 and ends in Buenos Aires on the 17th of January.
