Very sad news for those of you who follow the European motorcycle beach enduro races (like the famous Le Touquet Enduropale last year - {link}). One of the most competitive racers, the one who won last year, Timotei Potisek, has died after a crash when he was training on a beach. When he crashed, he went flying for 35 meters and landed on his neck and back.
He broke several bones in the neck and back, and was put artificially into a coma, but he never revived. It's sad because he was only 25 years old, and already a champion.
A sad day.
