We've seen this really great idea for putting PC style "in progress" indicators on traffic lights (click here to read ), but this is a pretty cool idea as well. Color deaf people (sorry, color blind) have problems recognizing colors, and therefore in a flash, have problems seeing if a light is red or green. When riding up on your motorcycle, and having all the time of the world, you can see if a light is red by looking if the top part of on or not. But when you notice the light at the last moment, this redesign could be very helpful, and not just for color blind people. By making the top light a triangle, the green light a square (the middle orange light remains round), you now also can see which light is on by looking at the shape. And let's face it, color blind people may have problems, but so do we all. With the sun shining on the light, and at a distance, you often just can't see what the color is. So maybe this will help. Nice idea...
