Despite the economic crisis creating havoc in the motorcycle industry, with the likes of Buell folding, MV Agusta for sale, Morini filing for voluntarily bankruptcy, sales down at Harley, Ducati and KTM, one plus point remains. World's biggest motorcycle exhibition, Milan's Eicma not only remains open (Paris Mondial did not open), but it is fully booked. There's a waiting list of 138 exhibitors trying to get in, and only if a company cancels do they stand a chance. Even with the likes of Honda and Yamaha not participating in EICMA, every bit of the 55,000 m2 is reserved, with 1,290 brands being shown. At least that's good news. And yes, I will be there for the press days, starting on 9 November. I'm looking forward to the new motorcycles from Ducati, the new MV Agusta, and whatever else the manufacturers may throw at us. Tune in on the 9th of November (evening Central European Time) for the first photos of Ducati.
