Thanks to the many spammers, we've disabled comments. It got to the state that we couldn't access the site every hour. We'd be receiving 100,000's of comment spams during a full hour, and no one could access the site during that time.
Of course, none of the spams were displayed, since our system removed them all before being published, but the processing power it needed to deal with the tons of comments being generated was enough to block the system.
So, no comments anymore. It pisses me off, since comments are a great way of seeing if the articles are "alive"....
Now, let's see how the system survives...
