So far, we've never been disappointed, and this DVD is no exception. Although it's not made by them, they distribute it. The DVD is called 2009 The Hell on Wheels Moto Rally & Pin Up Beauty Pageant. The documentary is about an annual motorcycle gathering (this is their 3rd year), with lots of motorcycles, riding, music, and lots of girls (and guys). The gathering is at San Juan Capistrano in California. The documentary interviews several people, including the motorcycle shop owner (Meatball), and several riders. There are all sorts of motorcycles, from sophisticated choppers, enormous & expensive Harleys, and small dirt bikes, plus a view classic vintage bikes. The beauty pageant is funny, since the girls dress in retro/vintage bathing suits, including their hairdo. Of course the only thing that wrecks the "old" image are the tats... Check out the DVD teaser below. Quote: "If you don't like motorcycles, beer and girls then you probably shouldn't come". Verdict: Interesting documentary, though at times it's a bit long in the tooth, staying in a specific topic, but I guess that's because they are playing a sound track, and want to finish the track before going to the next image. There's lots of music from great bands. The main documentary is 45 mins long, but there's additional bonus footage. I'd say 50% of the time is spent on the music & girls, the remainder is on the motorcycles. For some strange reason, the DVD is rated "R", maybe because at one time someone's mother got mentioned in an unflattering way. But no violence or nudity.
