Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia , launched their world premiere, the Tuono V4R naked motorcycle at the Eicma exhibition. Aprilia, known for the sexy and very fast motorcycles did not disappoint (they did disappoint that they ran out of press kits...). Here are some photos I took of the new bike (all photos can be expanded by clicking on them). The 179 kg motorcycle has a 17 liter fuel tank, with a 4 liter reserve. The exhaust is a 4 into 2 into 1 layout, with a single oxygen sensor, lateral single silencer with engine management system controlled butterfly valve and integrated trivalent catalytic converter (the exhaust already meets future Euro4 regulations) Aprilia's longitudinal 65° V-4 cylinder, 999 cc engine, with liquid cooling system, double overhead camshafts (DOHC), and four valves per cylinder. The engine delivers 162 hp (119 kW) at 11,000 rpm. Maximum torque is 110 Nm at 9,000 rpm.
