 Honda was the first motorcycle manufacturer on the official press day to launch their new motorcycles. After many years of listening to Japanese senior management tell us all the financial details, it was a pleasant surprise to find all corporate talks brought down to a minimum and presentations were focussed on motorcycles. The press conference was held in the conference center at Eicma, and not at their stand: Only one Japanese senior manager held a brief talk, and even introduced some concept bikes. The interesting concept motorcycle introduced was the CrossTourer 1200, an obvious stab at Ducati's Multistrada 1200. Here's the video of the launch. It looks like the North American market is not that important to Honda, if you read the text in the slide in the background. So maybe you'll never get to see the CrossTourer.... As you can see, Honda press conference was well attended, but many of the ones you see in the rear are dealers. Below are some of the launch videos. I'll post pictures at a later day...
