GasGas  is known for their off-road motorcycles, especially their Trial bikes, but also their enduro range. It's therefore no surprise to see GasGas coming out with an electric Trial motorcycle. If there's one motorcycle sport that is ideally suited for electric, it's Trial. You never go far, you need an incredible torque, no gears, light and not having any noise is an incredible plus point in this sport.
The TXT-E from GasGas looks like a real Trial bike:
The trial motorcycles weights only 64 kilos (but it says Dry weight, so I presume that's without batteries).
The batteries will give you 45 to 120 minutes of riding pleasure. Recharge to 80% takes 1 hour, 2 1/2 hours to 100%.
A very simple dashboard, since on a Trial motorcycle, you don't need much.
I have to say, it looks really good, and I guess it could sell well in that very niche market.
