For years now I finish the reporting of the big motorcycle exhibitions by showing you the "soft" side of the motorcycle shows; the girls. Also known as Demo Dollies or Stand Girls, these ladies have a thankless job. Posing for demanding photographers, being leered at by school boys (and journalists), often being asked to stand there while some smelly guy puts his arms around them (again they are probably journalists), get insulting remarks thrown at them by passersby (usually journalists)... not nice. But that doesn't take away that they make motorcycles even more pretty, that is if you can unlock your eyes from the girls. Here are 45 ladies in 78 photos (so it'll take some time to load. After the first photo, click on the continue to read in order for all photos to load) of many of the ladies. Unfortunately, my workstation's calibration software went on the blink, and all photos "looked" very dark, so I have not been able to adjust the photo brightness. So if photos look dark or bright, sorry.... We'll start with another photo of the teaser photo I used last week... the girl from Termorace:
#00 | Let me know who you think is the prettiest and the sexiest. My vote for prettiest is a toss-up between #02, #24 and #41 and sexiest is between #00 and #30. MV Agusta

#44 and #45 | That concludes my reporting from EICMA. This year the show was not so good, the organization left a lot to be desired about, and there was less to see, but nevertheless, it was fun but hard work to be there. Next year is Intermot (hopefully), so see you there. I hope you enjoyed it.
