Why would cars and motorcycles be the only ones that get electric, zero emissions, versions? Doesn't sound fair. So here you go, found in the darkest corners of the EICMA motorcycle exhibition, the Swaygo Axio 575e; an electric quad, still in concept stage. Maybe they manufacturers don't see it as a quad, but I do. If it has got four wheels, if it looks like a quad, if it moves like a quad, and if it quacks like a quad, ergo, it's a quad. The electric vehicle can reach a speed of 100 kph, with a range of 120 kms. The wheels are independently controlled by a CPU, allowing you to take corners at a reasonable speed, and go over rocky grounds. The 72 Volt battery can be charged up to 80% in 20 minutes, 180 minutes for a 100% charge. The whole thing weights 246 kilos. No info available on price or availability, or it will ever get out of concept stage, but it does look funky.
