Any city in the world knows about traffic jams. Roads blocked by still standing cars, with only motorcycles being able to pass through. We've all seen it, and know all about it. It's one of the reasons we ride motorcycles. But some vehicles really need to get through the traffic in case of an emergency. Police and fire services now use motorcycle to be the first responders, and even medical emergency services use motorcycles. But the problem arises when you have someone who is wounded and needs to be transported to the hospital. Cars will try to get out of the way for an ambulance, but often they just can't. Having an ambulance stuck in traffic with a person in dire need of medical assistance is bad, very bad. Angel Lee, a designer, has come up with a great solution. Using a motorcycle, he has attached an ambulance trailer to the motorcycle. Inside, there's space for medical equipment and for a paramedic. And of course, the patient. This way, the patient can be transported quickly, and reasonably safely, to the nearest hospital. The ambulance is called R-aid. Great idea, and something most cities should envisage. Now... who wants to job of riding the motorcycle? It's not the first time that such a combo is used (see related below), but this one looks practical.
