Fake Ducati In Movie Knight and Day. Aprilia Used |

In the new blockbuster movie, Knight and Day  , starring the always stunning Cameron Diaz and Scientologist evangelist, Tom Cruise , a big deal has been made about Tom Cruise cruising (pun intended) through the movie on a Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle.
The trailer looks great, fast motorcycle doing lots of stunts. But when you look close to the photo below (click on the photos to see a bigger version), you'll notice a few things that are odd about the Ducati.... it's not a Ducati.
Just notice the middle arrow, that's the biggest giveaway... the engine block says Aprilia. Compare the photos of the Ducati Multistrada and the Aprilia SXV550, and you'll see several other areas that do not patch up with the original Ducati.
So during the stunts, the actual Hypermotard is replaced by an Aprilia SXV550 disguised to look like a Ducati. It would appear that the Ducati is not strong enough to do the stunts that were required, while the Aprilia was.
I'm quite sure that Ducati aren't too pleased with this....Well, that's show business.
