#fiatyamahateam MotoGP France Report: Day 0

It took me a lot longer to get to Le Mans thanks to pea thick soup along the way, and a motorcycle helmet visor that kept fogging up. I had also mistaken the temperature, and was shivering my way from Normandy to Le Mans.

I finally arrived at the hotel, in the sun I hasten to add, and found that my hosts (more importantly, the ones holding the precious pass) from the Fiat Yamaha team Open link in a new window were still in Paris doing their road tour.

So instead of standing there with my finger in a dike (I am Dutch after all), I decided to try my luck at the Le Mans MotoGP circuit. I headed over on my tired and old GS, and bullshitted myself into the main area.

On both sides of the staff entrance, you can see the stands/tribunes were the privileged spectators will sit. On this side of the photo is were all the administration offices are, including the enormous press media center and the VIP center:

On the left was an enormous MotoGP truck:

These are mobile MotoGP offices, allowing the Dorna staff to have their own offices on the go, they just drive it to whatever location the GP is being held.

In between the two stands is where the motorcycle race will be held; the circuit itself.

Climbing the admin building, you'd be amazed at the number of trucks that are parked there. It's wall-to-wall trucks, more than what you can count.

Too bad I wasn't there when they arrived, since getting them lined up next to each other like this requires skill.

There, that was to wet your appetite. More when the Fiat Yamaha team Open link in a new window arrive and I can officially enter the circuit.

For the time being..... play safe.
