 Here's the invention I've been waiting for, a real motorcycle GPS. Until now, motorcycle specific GPSs were standard style GPSs fitted with some motorcycle functions (like rain proof, touch screen, buttons on the left). The "motorcycle GPS gets mounted on the handlebar, and now we have an "official" motorcycle GPS. But for bikers who have been using maps folded onto our tank bag, it's not the way we've been doing it. Until now.... Designer Stephen Dettman is designing a real motorcycle GPS, the way we're used to working. Using flexible solar panels and the new E-Ink display technology, he is designing a GPS that can be strapped to your tank, or tank bag. The functions of the MotoMap GPS can be operated with gloves. This looks like a real motorcycle device. Let's hope one of the big GPS manufacturer snatch up this design. Great job Stephen. Click here for more info and photos .
