NIP Bike logo
The first motorcycle taxi company to use the three wheeled Piaggio 400cc MP3 scooter has started in the Parisian suburbs. This is to our knowledge, the 5th motorcycle/scooter taxi company in the French capital {link}.

Called NIP  Bike Urban Transport Open link in a new window, the Boulogne Billancourt Click for map based company will transport their passengers anywhere in Paris and its suburbs, using the stable platform of a three wheeled scooter.

NIP is not only equipped with the MP3 scooter, but has the Nolan 102 and 103 helmets with integrated Bluetooth, allowing for the passenger/client to talk to the rider. Additionally, the scooter is equipped with a TomTom GPS.

Several tariffs are offered, depending on time of day and where you want to go. For example, going within Paris between 10 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon will set you back €25. Going from Paris to Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy) during the same hours will cost €60, during rush hour it'll set you back €85. Not bad, cheaper than a taxi, anda lot faster....

You can also subscribe to their service, kind of a retainer, giving you discounts.

Currently, you can reserve via telephone or email.
