 According to ASNAV (an organization that promotes better eyesight for drivers), 8 million, out of the 20 million car and motorcycle drivers have a bad or badly corrected eyesight. According to ASNAV, you need to have good peripheral vision in order to ride your motorcycle (or car), and they deem it a good idea for you to see an optician on a regular basis to evaluate your eyesight. Their slogan is "At the wheel, your sight is your life". Two observations: 1. It sounds good, but then ASNAV is an organization of opticians, therefore self-serving. 2. Why are the 8 million bad seeing French car drivers always driving where I am riding my motorcycle? Here's the recommended eye test for men:
