It's the reason that motorcycle taxis in the French capital have become an important business tool. They may be a tad more expensive than traditional car taxis, but the money you save in getting to the airport in time, or to that meeting is priceless. And if you take into account the time you waste sitting for hours in a cage cab while the garbage truck is loading garbage in front of you, or your road is blocked by one of the numerous protest marches, then a motorcycle taxi is dirt cheap. There are nowadays a lot of motorcycle taxis operating in Paris. Below you'll find a list of most of them, though I'm sure I've missed one or two. The list will show you the name of the company, their web site (click on it to go directly to their site in a new window), if their site is in English, the motorcycles used, price for 1 or 4 hours, price from Paris to Roissy/Charles de Gaulle airport, and from Paris to Orly airport, reservations (all of them can be reserved by phone), payment possibilities (all accept cash) and comments. When you see PayPal, that's because you can pay in advance. CB is the French general banking card (Carte Blue). Phone numbers starting with +33-6- or +33-7- are mobile phone numbers. 0800 numbers can not be dialed internationally, but you'll always find an international phone number listed.
