The stupidity of some of our motorcycle riding brothers (and sometimes sisters) never ceases to amaze me. First of all, riding a motorcycle with speeds of up to 300 kph is stupid on public roads. But then filming yourself, and posting the video on the internet is plain Darwinian. You should know by now, that the police check these videos. In this case, a French biker posted a video of his 300 kph ride on the A16 in the North of France. The cops got the IP address (the computer address of any computer hooked up to the net), and with that IP address found the rider. The biker acknowledged that he was indeed the felon, and he's now in front of the judge. Sentencing will be on November the 18th, and he can get 5 years prison and a €45,000 fine. In today's tough climate against motorcycles, I expect that they'll throw the book at him. NOTE: The photo above is an illustration only, and is not the person caught speeding on his motorcycle.
