Some innovative biker got caught recently in France with a way-to-smart license plate system on his motorcycle. Stopped by local cops for a routine paper check, the cops noticed that his motorcycle's license plate was one letter different from what was written in the bike's papers. On further investigation, they noticed a small switch next to the clutch. Pressing the switch removed the horizontal lines on the "E" on the plate, turning it into an "I". An interesting device allowing him to speed without being caught, but he forgot to turn it off. The interesting thing is that because he was not caught using the switch, he can't be fined for it. He could have gotten a €3,750 fine and 5 years prison, instead he got a €135 fine for a faulty licence plate. Lucky biker. Imagine the lengths some people will go through to not get caught...
