Wild boar
Collisions between animals and motorcycles (and other vehicles) is on the increase in France.

Wild boars have the highest road kill rate, representing 46% of the 25,000 reported accidents. Imagine riding your motorcycle against one of those animals, it's like riding it into a concrete wall. Those little buggers aren't scared of a motorcycle, and will charge you....

34% of the road kill is attributed to deer. The area in France with the largest number of road kill is Gironde Open link in a new window, followed by Seine-en-Marne Open link in a new window.

I wonder how many of these got hit on the road....
