Funeral Of Motorcycle Police Officer Killed In Texas 3 March 2008   File under  News Uniformed   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France The funeral of Victor Lozada Tirado, motorcycle Police Officer killed while escorting US Presidential hopeful, Senator Hilary Clinton, was well attended by 100's of motorcycle officers. This is, to my knowledge, the 3rd motorcycle Police Officer killed while escorting VIPs in the last 12 months or so in the US. That seems to be very high, compared with other countries. What makes it more dangerous to escort VIPs in the USA? AP News     Hundreds of police motorcycles lead the funeral procession of Dallas Police Sr. Cpl. Victor Lozada Tirado to the cemetery Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, in Plano, Texas. Tirado was killed last week when his motorcycle crashed while he was working as an escort in Sen. Hillary Clinton's motorcade. Clinton attended the funeral.
