I've said it before, trial motorcycles are the best motorcycle platform for electrical bikes. You don't need the range (you're not going anywhere), you just need low weight and a lot of torque, something electrical motorcycle offer. It's also a sport where engine noise can distract the rider trying to climb impossibly high obstacles. Spanish trial motorcycle manufacturer, with a big reputation, GasGas , already has an electric trial competition bike (see related below), but now they have more electric trial bikes - for kids. The GasGas TXT e8 is made for kids aged between 2 and 5 years, and TXT e12 for ages 5 to 10. The TXT e8 has 8" wheels and a 0.5 kW engine with a maximum speed of 22 kph, the e12, you've guess it, has 12" wheels, a 0.75 kW engine, 28 kph top speed and a bigger battery. Both eBikes will run for about 2 hours before they need to be recharged. Weight is 24 kilos for the e8 and 28.7 kgs for the e12 and the seat is 385mm of the ground for the e8, 470mm for the e12. Both engines are made by German ETA-Motors . If you're planning for your kids to learn to ride trial, this is an ideal tool for them to learn. Silent, easy to handle and reasonably priced.
