Here's a good way of reducing motorcycle accidents, and giving motorcycle riders a run for their money. In Malaysia, the government is studying the possibility to create motorcycle lanes ! Not bicycle or bus lanes, like the rest of the world, but actual lanes where motorcycle-only can ride on !
How progressive and forward think is that ? Currently, 60% of all accidents in Malaysia are motorcycle related, and they hope to reduce these accidents by creating the motorcycle lanes. Of course, they also plan to straighten many of the winding roads, which will reduce the fun, but what the heck, at least you have your own lane.
Will the Mairie of Paris place take note !! This is the way it should be done ! Thank you Malaysia for showing the way.
