The Depardieu family is plagued with motorcycle mishaps, but that hasn't stopped their famous actor-father, Gerard Depardieu  , from starting a Yamaha motorcycle dealership (a mega shop at Roissy-en-France  - close to the Paris Roissy airport).
Gerard Depardieu has always been a keen motorcycle and scooter rider, and has a good relationship with Yamaha. He was recently spotted at the Yamaha V-max launch and was even associated with the Yamaha MT-01 communication program.
Now, Depardieu, apart from his movies and wine (he owns a big vineyard), is in the motorcycle business. The only problem is that he (and his son) use their businesses together, and without moderation. Wine and movies mix, movies and motorcycles mix, but motorcycles and wine do not. Both have found this out the hard way, but both continue mixing motorcycle and booze anyway.
So let's hope that this will lead a more "normal" life for France's top actor, and that he sets a better example for his new customers.
