It's like a balance in the world order. A couple of motorcycle manufacturers leave the scene, and then some time later, others see the light of day. Last year we saw the birth of the German big displacement manufacturer Horex (see related articles below). This year we'll see another German motorcycle manufacturer. ZP Moto from Zschopau (the place where the defunct MZ was built) is the brainchild of 5 passionate motorcycle engineers, some from MZ, who have formed the company, and have on the drawing board a classic scrambler motorcycle. Though the look of the bike is classic, the technology isn't. The motorcycle itself was designed by Paris based David Negrello, and it will have a water cooled engine. That's as much as we know. The bike is intended to be produced in small quantities starting 2012, and is privately funded. You can inquire more if you're interested by going to their website, but at this moment there's not much info there. Click here to access the ZP Moto site
