Many of us when we are not able to climb on our motorcycle and soar down the roads, want to be able to at the very least look at our favorite motorcycle. There are many companies that offer scale models of the most popular bikes, and classic vintage motorcycles fall into that category. But here's a company, Fidelity Legend Models , based in Spain, that custom makes scale models of vintage motorcycles. They reproduce the classic bike to an exceptional degree, with many moving parts.
Montesa Impala 175 Sport Scale Model | They do "mass" produce one motorcycle, the Montesa Impala 175 Sport (look at the video below, you'll see how realistic the motorcycle is), and it doesn't come cheap (it used to be €1593, but now you can get it for "only" €1217). Not cheap, but made with an incredible detail. The model is made to a 1:5 scale using the same materials used on the original bike, and when you look at the video, you'll understand why it's so expensive; every part that is supposed to move, moves. It's not like you can press the brake lever and it moves, but in this case, when you press the brakes, you see the brake drum move in the wheel. That's the amount of detail they have put in this model. They have four models which can be made in short order, but you will need to request more info directly from them. The models are Ossa Mick Andrews 250, Montesa Cota 247, Bultaco Sherpa T250 and the Bultaco Metralla 62. Other models can be made on request. So if you have a vintage motorcycle you either lust after, or just want to have as a reminder on your desk, contact them for a price. Click here to access Fidelity Legend Models (in Spanish).
