The French motorcycle and scooter helmet manufacturer, Roof  , gained popularity years ago with their innovative and very stylish Roof Boxer Helmet , a helmet that looked like a jet-fighter helmet.
For the 2013 season, Roof has announced another stylish and innovative helmet, this time a jet/open face style helmet.
The new helmet is called Cooper, and its innovation is that the sun visor is mounted on top of the helmet - on the outside, in contrast with other helmets, where the sun visor is located inside the helmet.
The "normal" visor is located just under the sun visor, giving a stronger reinforcement of the face in the unfortunate case it meets the tarmac unexpectedly. An easy mechanism is in place to lower or rise either of the visors.
The top visor is 100% sun visor, the "normal" visor is 50% sun visor (look at the top photo, click on it for a bigger version). The sun visor can also be removed.
Three mono-color versions will be available, orange, white and black, and three bi-color version, black & gray, red & black and white and bronze. The helmet will be available during spring 2013 at a price around €199.
