This is the start of a new article series. Sometimes people send me links to articles that have a lot of links on a specific product. I can either redo the article, listing the same products, or simply tell you what it is about, and if you're so inclined, go to that site and have a look.
Throat Microphones: This link is about throat mics. For those of you who ride in groups, and stay in touch via walkie-talkie, one of the main problems is where to place your microphone. Inside the helmet requires adaptation of the microphone, often using booms. We've published one article on throat microphones {link}.
A throat microphone is probably one of the easier solutions on a motorcycle, and should even make your voice come over clearer since the microphone is held against your throat and shouldn't get wind noise.
