Hybrid Peugot Hymotion Motorcycle On Sale Next Year |

Introduced as a surprise prototype last year at the 2008 Paris Car Exhibition, the proposed Peugeot Hymotion is slated to go on sale next year (2010).
The Peugeot Hymotion is a single seat hybrid scooter, integrating two well known motorcycle designs; - a roof like the BMW C1 and
- 2 front wheels like the Piaggio MP3.
But what this scooter brings to the table as well, is hybrid technology. The scooter is powered by a fossil-fuel burning 125cc engine and two (yes correct, count them, TWO) electric engines. According to Peugeot, the Hymotion will consume 2 liter for 100 kilometers and emit 47 gr/100 km of CO2. It also sports a "Start & Stop" system, killing the engine when you are waiting at a red light.
Performance is that of a 400 cc scooter, so it's going to be pretty fast, and the two front wheels will make it nimble and stable. No news how fast it'll go and how far.
Looks like a good alternative to the hybrid Piaggio MP3.
