Korean motorcycle maker, Hyosung Open link in a new window (now part of S&T Motors, and partially renamed to KR Motors Open KR Motors link in a new window), has had the Hyosung ST7 CruiserHyosung ST7 Cruiser 2009 for a while. It's a nice looking cruiser and has sold well in Asia. Now they have teamed up with their importer in India, DSK Hyosung Open DSK Hyosung link in a new window, to design a bad-ass power cruiser.

Hyosung ST7 Cruiser Concept

The original ST Cruiser is a 650 cc bike, looking like most Harley-Davidson wannabees. But since Hyosung is very strong in the Asian markets, with India one of their main target markets, they need a new and stronger bike. India is not only a growing market for all motorcycle products, but it's a market with an increasing appetite for bigger displacements and more powerful designs. Like the Harley-Davidson 750 or Ducati Diavel.

So both companies have gotten their concept and will most probably present it at either the Intermot or the Eicma exhibition later this year.
