Two things we motorcycle riders always face: 1. We need to carry stuff with us, and 2. We need to be seen, especially at night The following Kickstarter project might just help us with both. Called Halo Zero LED Messenger Bag from Rickshaw Bagworks as the name says, is a messenger bag that can be carried on your back, and it's equipped with a LED light strip in the back. It serves two purposes, 1) it carries stuff like your laptop (up to 15") and 2) with 2 x CR2025 (coin) batteries it powers a custom patented LED thermoplastic polyurethane fiber optic strip that is attached by Velcro to the messenger bag. The LED strip can be set to solid, strobe and flash. If you're running it in solid mode, the 2 batteries will last 20 hours, if you use flash, they'll last 60-75 hours. The bag can be purchased in different colors, and the LED as well. But what's interesting, is that you can purchase just the HALO LED strip and mount the strip anywhere you want. The company is in the final stages of crowd-funding, so if you want to get into the action early, you'll have certain advantages. If not, when they go into production, a bag with LED will set you back US$150 (if you subscribe now, it'll cost US$128) and the strip alone will cost US$50.
