Ideas: Cool Looking Motorcycle Turn Signals

Often, motorcycle turn signals look like they were added as afterthought by the manufacturer. They usually look out of place and the same one can be seen on different models. And if that's the case with your motorcycle, here's a crowd-funding Kickstarter Open Kickstarter in a new window project that may interest you.

The project was submitted by MuzaMoto Open MuzaMoto link in a new window in the USA and it involves some kickass and very stylish turn signals Open turn signals link in a new window.

They are working on two different signals/indicators. The first one is bolted on the end of your handlebars. They are smaller than normal ones, but can be seen 360° around, something your "normal" indicators can not boast about.

The other set they are making are for the rear of your motorcycle. They are called "bolt-on" signals are have a smaller foot print than normal ones. And like with the handlebar sets, these rear signals can be seen, at 360°.

All the signals are made out of solid 6061 aircraft grade aluminum with a durable anodized finish. The four 1.5 W LEDs provide some 400 lumens worth of light.

Pledging money up front gets you all sorts of goodies and discounts. If you're planning on buying the turn signals at a later stage, count about US$150 for the handlebar units and US$120 for the rear ones.
