Interesting idea to force bikers to use a helmet on a motorcycle. In a country which has the world's highest death rate on the road, in Noida, an area in Northern part of India, the local authorities are trying to cut down the number of motorcycle deaths on their roads.
One idea they had was to order petrol pumps not to sell fuel to motorcycles if the rider does not wear a helmet. Nice idea, but one that did not work.
Petrol stations kept selling petrol to motorcycles, even if they did not have a helmet. Money is money, and if a biker decided not to wear a helmet, it's their problem.
