BMW's press conference was on their enormous stand.
As usual, the suits started off with 90% of the allocated time on speeches that would normally be given in the board room. The remainder of the time was presenting the motorcycles themselves and a motorcycle celebrity.
Needless to say, most of us were bored.
They'll never learn the difference between a motorcycle journalist and a financial journalist...
The first new motorcycle to be driven in, was the BMW K1300GT.
Not much style change, but a newer and bigger engine.
next was the turn of the BMW K1300S motorcycle.
Same engine, same bike.
The last of the K1300 trio was the BMW K1300R.
For me, the most successful one in the looks department.
Finally, the long awaited BMW entry in the SuperBike competition.
Here's the bike with its rider, Ruben Xaus. We'll be seeing much more off him next year in the competition.
Now a very quick look at the trio of new bikes before I run off to the next presentation (I'll let you fill in the words):
