Arrived bright and early at the Intermot motorcycle exhibition to get my gear and process ready for the big day tomorrow. Although there's a general opening later this afternoon, there's not going to be anything to write home about. Then at 6 PM, Suzuki kick off the fun with a press conference. Unfortunately, it's not at the Intermot grounds, but 30 minutes away. To put you in the mood, this is what a major motorcycle exhibition looks like 2 days before the public gets to see it. There are 5 photos after the "continue reading"... As you can see, some manufacturers have been at it over the weekend. While some are still shells, with nothing in it. These guys will be working day & night until the grand opening on Wednesday (all the manufacturers with a press conference will be ready by Tuesday morning, so in the nick of time). The Ducati red fire extinguishers are rolled up alongside the Ducati Mutlistrada. You don't want it to catch fire do you? Rubbish is at places knee high. Most of the dummies are naked, waiting for their motorcycle clothing and helmets. This final photo before the event is one of the main hallways along the 10 halls. All in all, about 2-3 kilometers in length. Tuesday, with some 10 press conferences, it's the equivalent of running a marathon, except you're loaded with 20-30 kilos of equipment and documentation. So, until hopefully tonight for a round up of what Suzuki had to tell us.
