Still a few articles to come about the Intermot, but here are a few that did not fit in their own category/article. Some nice motorcycles, or photos that were of strange and wonderful things. Exhibiting at Intermot is not a cheap affair. It's one of the biggest motorcycle shows, and having a stand there costs money, lots of it. I was therefore surprised to see several of these scenes: Empty stands! The stand builders had put up the stand, everything is ready, but on Wednesday (grand opening) no one was on it, and no material was presented. Looks like the company did not show up. Money is paid upfront, so it's lost... Most cases, they folks came from Asia. Maybe they didn't get an entry visa... Moto Morini had a nice Adventure motorcycle, the GRANPASSO, with big extra lights and panniers. 1187 cc, 118 HP engine. 201 Kgs empty, 230 Kgs full. Nice... Outside, the organizers had put a SuperMoto track, with bikes riding around at high speed, despite the rain...impressive. The famous TwinTrax monster motorcycle. Not a motorcycle to ride in busy traffic. One of the many choppers to be seen at the Custom Championship Builders. Husqvarna 450SMR. Nice.... Dainese exhibited their airbag neck protector device. The Suzuki Gladius was shown here in Union Jack colors. It looks like a Mike Myers special... yeah baby! Suzuki also had a top secret concept race motorcycle hidden away. But we managed to find it... SCOOP?? A couple of guys just could not keep their hands of the models, even if the models were guys... naughty! Would you believe it? Some bikers showed up naked, except their helmets. Nudists at the show....
